The clients could have moved to a larger more spacious home but they chose to stay put and revamp their existing home into a striking residence that pays homage to a southern eclectic lifestyle.
The careful mix of antiques and contemporary furniture add interest and dimension to smaller intimate spaces and add scale and livability to larger family spaces.
One of the highlights of the home are the ‘inked’ floors. The solid black hardwood floors and cool gray walls are a wonderful canvas to paint the other colors of the home upon.
The client is particularly fond of her meditation space that was created out of an unused window niche in the master bedroom. An eclectic art collection is inspired by the Low Country of the Southern United States coastal areas.
